President: Gunil Chung Gunil Chung -- Empact Solutions Mr. Chung is the founding-CEO of Empact Solutions, a B2B ASP that provides independent 3rd-party reports against service level agreements. As founding-CEO, he was instrumental in creating the company's strategy and business plan and in taking the company to its funding in 2001. He is currently in charge of product management at Empact.Before founding Empact Solutions, Mr. Chung worked at Merrill Lynch as a consultant, designing and building the system that monitors MLDirect, Merrill's on-line trading application. Before that, he was a co-founder and VP of Consulting at Invenio, an enterprise systems management software company that was later acquired. Prior to Invenio, Mr. Chung worked as a software engineer at Open Environment Corp., a client/server middleware company that was acquired by Borland. Mr. Chung has received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brown University. In addition to serving as the President of KASE East Coast, Mr. Chung volunteers as a business plan advisor and mentor at NFTE. Sunny has been a long-time KASE officer and
supporter since the East Coast inception. For 2 years, she ran the Events
Programming group, including moderating panels on wireless technology,
business plan presentations, and career seminars. Isabella Chung -- Phlair, Inc. Miranda Tan -- James Nam -- David
Kim -- Pinnacle
International, LLC Allis Ghim -- Revlon Allis is currently an associate brand manager at Revlon, Inc. where she oversees the strategy, new product development and day-to-day management of the Skinlights and Skincare businesses at Revlon. Prior to joining Revlon, Allis was employed at Goldman, Sachs & Co. She spent two of those years in their Private Client Services group, where she marketed services and products to their high net worth individuals. Prior to joining the Private Client Group, she was the first 2-year analyst in their Global Operations division. She also worked as a summer intern during college in their Information Technology division where she developed and adapted their commercial paper trading systems in a Unix based environment and programmed in C and SQL. Allis received her B.S. in Industrial Management and Economics with a minor in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently attending NYU's Stern School of Business for her MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Finance. She expects to graduate in May 2003. Jason is currently the Director of Internal Operations for the Instinet Corporation, a market leading electronic exchange network for financial instruments. In the past, Jason also has experience as a Business Architect (Financial Services) at Scient Corporation, an eBusiness consulting company, and as a Team Leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.Jason has provided independent consulting services to emerging businesses, helping to provide industry-specific advice for business models, plans, and operational tactics. His experience hinges on the financial services and broker-dealer industry, and has experience with knowledge management, organizational changes, business process improvement, and software development. Jason graduated from Boston College - Carroll School of Management with degrees in Finance and Management Information Systems, and a minor in Black Studies. He is also currently pursuing his MBA from Fordham University. SeYong Park -- Sewon Kim -- Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. Ms. Kim is an Associate at Bear Stearns Public Finance Department where she provides investment banking services to State and local government entities including general obligation, lease revenue and revenue bonds, certificates of participation, and project financings. Since joining Bear Stearns, Ms. Kim has provided analytical support for number of issuers including District of Columbia, City of Phoenix, Arizona Department of Transportation, Regional Transportation District (Denver) and Lower Colorado River Authority. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, she worked as a Senior Analyst in the Economics Consulting Group at Deloitte & Touche, LLP where she provided comparative financial analyses for multi-national corporations. Ms. Kim graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Japanese. Dwight Lee -- Joon Baik -- Sujin Hong -- Sonya Joo -- Jane Lee -- Ed Kim -- Eddie has a background in corporate financial planning and analysis, banking, and investment management. As the finance director of Simon & Schuster, he oversaw daily finance operations and the planning process, while providing advisory services to senior management and engaging in restructuring projects after a major divestiture. As a banker, he participated in the lending operations of a $500 million portfolio consisting of startups to major multinationals. And prior to banking, he supported the international equity portfolio management process of a private bank. On the entrepreneurial side, he has done consulting work for American Banker, the Financial Planning magazine, and has helped several startups and small businesses with finance and accounting, systems implementation, and business strategy.
